In 2005, he received his doctorate from the Medical University of Vienna, followed by specialist training at the University Hospital Düsseldorf and freelance work in Duisburg. Currently working at the Department of Forensic Medicine and Forensic Psychiatry at Paris Lodron University Salzburg.
