Dr.in Kronsteiner is a psychotherapist (psychoanalyst, systemic family therapy) in free practice, for the care center for torture and war survival "Hemayat" in Vienna as well as in free research and teaching. Since 1993 she has been a university lecturer at various universities in Austria. During and after studying ethnology (cultural and social anthropology), Oriental Studies and Psychology in Vienna, she completed numerous language and research stays in Turkey and Syria. She worked for many years in a counseling center for migrant women and children from Turkey.
