Resume

Ulrike Kluge studied psychology and ethnology in Marburg, Berlin and Coimbra (Portugal). She is professor for medical and psychological integration and migration research at the Clinic for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy of the Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin, Campus Mitte. She. There she heads the Center for Intercultural Psychiatry and Psychotherapy (ZIPP) and, together with Prof. Meryam Schouler-Ocak, the research area Intercultural Migration and Care Research, Social Psychiatry. Together with Dr. Penka heads her TransVer - the resource network for intercultural opening in Berlin. In addition, she has been head of the Migration, Physical & Mental Health and Health Promotion Department at the Berlin Institute for Empirical Integration and Migration Research at the Humboldt University of Berlin since 2021.
She is a group analyst and a member of the Interdisciplinary Forum for Neurourbanism. Her main research interests are: psyche and society, migration and (global mental) health, ethnopsychoanalysis and language and culture mediation in psychotherapy.
Prof. Kluge currently heads various inter- and transdisciplinary research and intervention projects on migration, flight and health, as well as on psychosocial integration and solidarity practices in the migration society.
