Resume
Prof. Dr Markus Hof is an appointed
professor of oral surgery at Sigmund Freud
Private University. He completed his dental
studies at the Medical University of Vienna,
followed by PhD studies. After his
habilitation, he was head of a student
education department, head of the
emergency outpatient department with
trauma care and head of the OCMR (Oral
Surgery, Medicine & Radiology) working
group. His research focuses on optimising
implant aesthetics, reducing peri-implant
bone resorption, and patient-based
evaluation of implant therapy. He has
received several awards for his scientific
work to date.
