1990–1991 Tracer studies on the central projection of primary afferents in guinea pigs at the Anatomical Institute II of the Medical University of Vienna.
1991–1998: Training as a specialist in ENT medicine at the ENT University Clinic, Vienna.
2002: Habilitation: 3D navigation in endoscopic sinus and skull base surgery.
2004–2024: Head of the ENT Department at the Favoriten Clinic, Vienna.
Since 2014 Chair of Rhinology at SFU Vienna
Since 2024 Head of the ENT Department at Donaustadt Clinic, Vienna, following the merger of the ENT departments at Favoriten Clinic and Donaustadt Clinic
