Melinda Tamás is a human rights consultant, university lecturer, researcher and advisor with an interdisciplinary background in cultural and social anthropology, human rights and international law. Her expertise includes political education, critical examination of racial structures and inequalities and extremism prevention, with a focus on anti-discrimination research and mechanisms of social inclusion and exclusion. She analyzes and deconstructs racist structures and develops sustainable prevention strategies against group-based discrimination and hostility. In this context, she designs and leads educational programs on anti-racism, social justice, political participation and democracy education, particularly for young people and marginalized groups. Her work integrates academic research with practice-oriented intervention strategies, combining critical educational approaches, interactive methods and digital innovations. Additionally, she engages in artistic performances that address the impact of racism and discrimination and explores how insights from various disciplines, including the arts, can be interwoven to promote social change and strengthen democratic resilience.
